Matthieu Lavanchy

Matthieu Lavanchy (1986) lives and works in Paris and he is a graduate of ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne).

In 2009, Matthieu Lavanchy participated in the Photo Global residency programme at the School of Visual Arts in New York. His work has been exhibited at, among other events, the Art Cologne salon, the Prague Contemporary Art Biennial and Plat(t)form 08 at the Fotomuseum in Winterthur. His work has been published in the magazines Wallpaper*, PIN-UP, Sang Bleu and UOVO. In 2010, he won the Prix du Jury Photographie at the Festival d’Hyères and the Swiss Federal Design Awards in 2011.
