Iran do Espírito Santo

Iran do Espírito Santo: Aside

This is Iran do Espírito Santo’s second exhibition at Ingleby Gallery and it follows on from his successful solo presentation as part of the 2010 Edinburgh Art Festival.

Espírito Santo presents four new gigantic glass sculptures, alongside a series of delicate paintings made directly onto the gallery walls. Both series of work, under the collective title Aside, transform the experience of being in the gallery both by their physical presence, and by offering an altered relationship with light, shade and space.
